Amazon Fire HD 10:

The design consistency feels identical to those of other fire tablets. This is also much larger than Fire HD and smaller than Samsung’s tablet.

You’ll see speakers on one side of the phone, and an SD card slot on the other side. Power button, USB Type-C port, microphone, 3.5mm jack, and volume buttons are availble at the top of the tablet.

This device really feels robust, but what I’ve found is that when we pinch the display at the corners, the screen moves but don’t forget it’s a cheap tablet. Overall the device’s design is nice enough for a tablet in the budget category.

Huawei MediaPad M5:

The design of this tablet is standard and it feels a little premium because the body is made up of metal with some small plastic lines on the top. These antenna lines are for radio and cell reception which is only available in LTE model.

The bezels on this tablets are little thick which in my opinion is not bad at all. These bezels provide us with a little support to keep the device. There is also a vertical fingerprint scanner that really works well. What’s disappointing though is that we are not having the 3.5 mm jack.

Amazon Fire HD 10:

The display is 10.1-inch long, with 1080p resolution. It is one of the best screens I’ve seen on any Fire tablet. And from different angles it looks very good and crystal clear, which is obvious since this device is designed for media consumption. There’s nothing to say, because it’s a stunning display made for media consumption.

Huawei MediaPad M5:

And, as I mentioned earlier, this device has thick bezels, which is why it gives your thumbs a proper place to rest when using the tablet.

The Display is a 10.8 IPS with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. It looks sharp, bright and there are also pleasant viewing angles. The technology in it improves the video quality by 20% and this happens by using the algorithms to dynamically adjust the contrast.

Amazon Fire HD 10:

Amazon claims that this is the fastest tablet they come out with, just because it’s the latest version. This device has got the 32 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM which is not that great. However, we do have a SD card slot and the memory is expandable up to 512 GB.

The major highlight of this device is that it’s mostly for entertainment purposes and from that point of view this device is actually pretty impressive. If you want, you can also make this tablet kid friendly which is really nice in my opinion because kids will be happy as well.

The speakers on this are pretty decent but they do sound a little distorted at the maximum volume. The one thing I like is that you can record your shows with Fire TV recast.

The most of the games were also playable and I didn’t notice any major issues although there was a bit of stuttering. But overall this device can handle most of the games without any problems.

Huawei MediaPad M5:

The chipset in this device might not be the fastest or the newest but it’s one of the fastest in the tablet sector as other companies uses older chipset to power their tablet.

Now, most of the games runs smoothly and I also mean PUBG as well. It runs very smooth at the highest graphic setting almost all the the time but I would still recommend you to turn down the graphics setting so that you could play games smoothly. Overall this is a really great device in terms of performance.

CAMERA & BATTERY

Amazon Fire HD 10:

The front and rear camera are just 2 MP and because of that I don’t think that the images are going to be of good quality. If you take pictures in really good lighting conditions than the photos might look a little good but don’t expect the camera to give too much details in those images.

The battery life on this device is really good because I started streaming videos when the battery was at 50% and I continuously stream videos for 5 hours and then the device got switched off. This device comes with 9-watt charger and it takes 3.5 hour to charge.

Huawei MediaPad M5:

On the back, we have got a camera with the resolution of 13 MP and on the front we got a 8 MP camera. The back camera pop out a little bit which might result into getting scratches. In order to avoid that I would suggest you to use the Huawei foot cover just to protect the camera lens.

The quality of both the cameras is really good unlike the Amazon Fire HD 10 which are totally opposite. This also supports 4K videos which is really surprising as most of the tablets doesn’t support that. But there is no stabilization in 4K videos which is kind of disappointing.

Battery-wise, we have got 7500 mAh of battery and it is a really big battery. So you will definitely last the whole day when its been used heavily. If you are not a heavy user than you might last for some days as well.

WHICH ONE YOU SHOULD BUY?

According to me Huawei MediaPad M5 is the one that I would buy as the performance is really great on this device. Not only performance but battery life, display and design is nice as well. So, for me Huawei Mediapad M5 is the tablet to buy.
