This device looks really nice as it has matte black aluminium material and because of this it does look a lot more expensive and premium. It does feel better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1.
There are also plastic bars on the top and bottom which is needed for the signal as the metal will not be able to penetrate the signal. The weight of this device almost 500 grams and it’s 8.2 millimetre’s thin.
The bezels are very slim all around the display. There is also a connector on the left side of the device which can be used to connect to a keyboard. The USB Type-C and the speaker grills are at the bottom. There is also another speaker on the top as well and with that you will see 3.5mm jack on the top of this device. On the right side of the device we get to see volume rockers, power button, a microphone, and micro SD card slot as well.
The display on this device is good enough considering the price. The size of this display is 10.3-inch and it is a Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200p and I do think that this is a bit unusual size for a tablet.
The display is not bright enough to use in direct sunlight. The color reproduction is good enough to watch videos and wide-angles are great. The surprising thing is that it’s a laminated screen which means there is no air gap between the pixels and the panel.
Netflix app don’t support the HD resolution on this screen, so you can only watch movies in standard definition. This makes me feel a little disappointing but considering the price point, it’s still decent enough to watch videos.
HARDWARE & PERFORMANCE
So, as I mentioned the speakers on these devices are on the top and bottom, so the audio experience is really nice. The audio is really loud and especially if you use the Dolby Atmos. But even with the Dolby Atmos, I do feel that the bass is a little less.
Even though this is a budget tablet, the performance of this device is decent enough and you will be fine doing the day to day task without any issues but I would definitely not recommend you to do any heavy editing work on this device as it is a budget oriented device.
The good thing is that you can play games like PUBG if you set the graphics to the lowest and still you will definitely experience some minor stuttering as this is not exactly a device for gaming.
Overall, if you want a pretty cheap device for gaming without caring about the graphics then this is a pretty good device for you. This is also a good device for some day to day task or watching videos.
CAMERA & BATTERY
The back camera on this device is a 8 MP shooter and the front camera is a 5 MP.
Rear camera on this device looks pretty snappy. This camera would work better if you take photos in bright conditions. But don’t expect to get super quality images from this device. The front camera is good enough to take some quick selfies and it’s also good enough to do video calling.
Overall, both of these camera’s are good enough to take pictures of document, video calling, and all that stuff but these are not the best camera available in the market.
When I tested battery life on this device, I saw that the battery didn’t even lasted 5 hours which in my opinion isn’t great at all. In this test, I only saw videos at 100% brightness and this really disappointed me. But when I did my standard battery life test which includes watching videos at medium brightness, it lasted for 14 hours. So I would not recommend you to use this device at 100% brightness.
When I put it back on charging, it took me almost 3 hours to charge back up to 100% which is normal in tablets.
Well, according to me this is a nice device to buy. The display is good for watching YouTube videos but we can’t watch Netflix in HD which is a little disappointing but that’s OK. You can also play some heavy games but you need to lower the graphics settings. The battery life on this device is not too great. And the the speakers are good enough but what’s missing is a little bass which is kind of OK.
