Huawei MediaPad M6
The MediaPad M6 has got unibody metal design and the back of the device has got matte finishing as well. On the back, there is a single camera and it has got a bump as well. The bezels have a very similar design in comparison with the Tab S5e.
The design of the device is in landscape mode which is nice for the grip as holding it becomes easy. However, the headphone jack is on the bottom right of the device which makes it hard to hold the device if we are on a video call and the earphones plugged in.
Overall, the design is nice and also the build quality is quite good as well.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
The first thing I notice when I hold the Galaxy Tab S5e is that it is very lightweight as it’s a very huge device. The other thing I notice is that the bezels are thinner than before which is nice and gives the device a little bit of modern feel. The one that I have got here is in Silver Color which looks quite nice and it has sort of matte finishing which gives a premium feel.
Overall, the design of the device is quite nice, it is very comfortable for holding it in hand as it is lightweight.

Huawei MediaPad M6
The MediaPad M6 has got 10.8-inch 2K resolution IPS display. The bezels are quite thin and perfect for thumbs to rest when watching videos or movies. On the bottom it has also got a physical home button which also works as the fingerprint scanner as well.
The brightness of the device is nice and also looks nice as well. However, the MediaPad M6 doesn’t have Widevine L1 certification. This basically means that we won’t be able to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime’s movies or web series in HD. This is really disappointing but it can be resolve by just an update.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
The Galaxy Tab S5e has got a Super AMOLED display with a 10.5-inch screen size. It has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and it means that it is a 2K resolution display.
The screen is very bright and also colors look nice as well. I personally enjoyed watching movies or videos on this device and I think you will also enjoy watching movies or videos on this screen.

Huawei MediaPad M6
The MediaPad M6 is good for doing everyday tasks like watching youtube videos, browsing through the web, scrolling through social media, and even listening to music. Even multitasking works well and also switching between the apps is also not a problem at all.
Even playing games is nice experience on this device. High-end games like PUBG also works great and smoothly. Also some other games like Call Of Duty also works great as well.
This device is even a good choice for parents as the MediaPad M6 has got in-built kids mode. This gives you control over what your kid watches, listens and also let’s you know if he/she is too close to the screen.
It is even good for someone who wants to do productive work and wants to replace their laptop. You can also have a mode like DEX which let’s you use the tablet like a laptop. However, you need to get the keyboard separately to use till its full potential which is the same case with the Tab S5e as well.

This device has got four speakers, two on the top, and two on the bottom of the device. These are AKG tuned speakers and it gives a nice audio experience. The audio is very crisp and clear, also the audio really loud as well. In my opinion, this is a perfect entertainment device as I enjoyed a lot watching movies, videos, and even listening to music.
The performance of the Tab S5e is good enough for everyday use like watching videos on YouTube, browsing, scrolling on social media, and things like that. You will also be able to do multi-tasking but it might not work flawlessly but the multi-tasking performance is definitely good enough.
In terms of gaming, simple games would work much better on this device and performance would also be better in simpler games. However, high-end games like Asphalt 9 performs well but it compromises in terms of graphics. It’s also the same with PUBG if you play in HD graphics then also you can notice some stutters. If you want a nice performance while playing PUBG then you need to set it at medium graphic settings.
This device has also got a DEX mode. If you are someone who wants to do productive work then you can use this mode. Basically, this mode is like using your desktop on the tablet. however, if you want to use this mode with full potential then you need to get its keyboard separately.

The front and the back cameras are nice and I would say that this camera’s are fairly average considering that these camera’s are on a tablet. These cameras can mainly be used for scanning documents or for video calling.
These device has got 5 to 6 hours of battery life at the least if it is in performance mode. If the usage is average than it would last for two to three days with just single charge. However, the battery life of a device varies according to its usage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
The front and the back camera of this device are not at all good. I wouldn’t recommend using this device to take photos as the result is not at all good not even decent. Even considering that it is a tablet the results are still not that great. Instead, I would recommend using your phone for taking photos.
The battery life of the Tab S5e is good enough for an average user. However, if you are a heavy user then also it will last for 5 to 6 hours without any issues. If you are a normal user then it could last for days with just a single charge.
Which Should You Buy?
If I need to buy Huawei MediaPad M6 Vs Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e than I would definitely go for Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. The Galaxy Tab S5e has got better display, nice design, good battery life but the performance is little bit on the average side. However, the MediaPad M6 has got nice performance, good battery life, nice build quality and also a good display as well. However, I would recommend to go for a device which suits your needs best.
