Microsoft Surface Go 2

The design of this device feels very similar to its predecessor. The design of this device is in landscape mode as it is mainly created for working professionals. However, you can still use it in portrait mode like other tablet devices. The kickstand of this device is very durable and strong just like its predecessor. The only noticeable difference is that the bezels have been slim from all sides. Which is kind of okay as the grip becomes a little less comfortable.

Overall, the design of the device is great, and also the build quality is nice as well.

Apple iPad Pro

The design of the device is very similar to its predecessor just like the Microsoft Surface Go 2. However, there is a change in the camera design on the back of the device. The finishing of this device is quite good and also it looks great as well. The design of the device is very sleek and it feels quite premium as well. This device is in portrait mode and also it feels great holding the device in hand.

This design is really good and feels very modern and gives premium feels as well.

Microsoft Surface Go 2

Here, we get to see a 10.5-inch pixel sense screen. The first thing I notice in this display is that the bezels have got really slim compared to its predecessor. The colors look quite natural and also the brightness levels are nice as well. The brightness is good enough for using it in outdoor lighting conditions. The color reproduction and contrast could have been a little better in my opinion.

This screen is beautiful to watch movies or videos but you also get black space on the top and bottom of the videos or movies. However, it’s not a big deal because it can easily be ignored.

Apple iPad Pro

Here, we get to see 11-inch retina display. This display is absolutely beautiful and the display has got true tone technology which makes display feels like a paper. True Tone technology basically balances the screen color according to the environment which makes the display looks a lot less harsh and much for comfortable for the eyes. This display is also laminated which means that there is no air gap between the display and the panel. Hence, it also improves the user experience for those who loves to draw or sketch on the iPad.

The other thing about this display is that it has got very sleek bezels which are nice for the looks but not for the grip and rest for the thumb. however, it’s completely fine as the grip of the device is just fine but I would have loved it if the bezels were just a little thick. Also, some other aspects like color reproduction and contrast are good enough. Even the brightness is good enough to use the device in outdoor lighting conditions.

Here, we also get to see two stereo speakers. These speakers are placed on the sides of the display in front. These speakers are loud at the maximum volume. Also, you have got a headphone jack, which means you can also use your earphones for listening to music or watching movies.

The performance of the device is pretty basic. Even though it has got 8 GB RAM I experienced a little stuttering while browsing through chrome and with some tabs open. However, simple office work can easily be done on this device without any issues. If you choose the device with Intel M3 then you might not get any stutters. Also, if you use a lot of apps at the same time then some of the apps might get close or shut down running in the background.

Even playing simple games I notice stutters here and there. Also, the graphics were set to the lowest. Thus, if you want to play some high-end games like PUBG or Call Of Duty then you can’t do that on this device. But you might be able to do that on the device with Intel M3.

Overall, the performance of this device is good enough for simple office work, and it’s also good enough for daily activity.

Apple iPad Pro

The iPad has got four stereo speakers. Two speakers are on the top and the other two speakers are on the bottom of the device. These speakers are great for listening to music or even watching movies. The sound quality is really nice, clean, and clear as well. Here we also get studio-quality microphones that improve the video calling experience.

The performance of the device is pretty good and its a really good device for daily activities like surfing social media, watching videos, or browsing the web and things like that. You can also do multi-tasking without any issues at all. Even the apps running in the background didn’t get shut down as well.

If you are someone who likes to play games than this device is for you. Here high-end games like PUBG and Call Of Duty runs smoothly. Also simple games like Subway Surfer and Temple Run works great as well.

Overall, this is a great device for gamers, everyday user, someone who wants to do moderate video editing and it’s also suitable for working professionals as well.

Microsoft Surface Go 2

The back camera of this device is 8-megapixel and the front camera is 5-megapixel. The quality of these cameras is great and you can take great quality images with this device. However, the quality is not going to be very high. But you can expect to get nice quality images in the broad daylight. Also, these cameras are good enough for video calling and also for document scanning.

The battery life of the device for every day use is somewhere around 5 to 6 hours which is decent according to me. However, if your usage is very minimal than it could last for a day or two without any issues.

Apple iPad Pro

Here, we get to see two cameras one is the 12-megapixels wide-angle camera and the other is the 10-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. These cameras are great to take photos and also these photos are really good quality. Also, the front camera is nice as well and takes nice photos as well. But it becomes a problem if someone needs to do video calling in landscape mode as the camera is placed according to the portrait mode.

However, the LiDAR sensor is the big highlight over here. You can use this sensor to do some augmented reality work which is fun in my opinion. But there aren’t many apps which we can use for it right now.

The battery life of the device is around 14 hours which is good enough for someone who likes to watch video. But if you are a heavy user than it might only last for 5 to 6 hours and it also depends on the usage of the device.

Which Should You Buy?

Now, If I need to buy one of these devices than I would definitely go for Apple iPad Pro as the performance of the device is good for gamers, everyday users, video editing and also for working professionals as well.

However, if you are a working professional and you are on a budget than I would recommend to go for Microsoft Surface Go 2 as it is good enough for using office apps like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. This device is also good enough for everyday use but it’s not good for high-end gaming but simple games good enough on this device.

In short your decision should be based on your needs and your budget because everyone’s needs and budget is different and we can’t know your needs and necessities so you should make decision on the basis of needs..
