Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

The Tab S5e feels very slim and light when holding it for the first time in my hand. On the back of the device, we get to see the Samsung logo in the middle, a camera on the top left, and AKG branding on the bottom of the device. We also get to see an ugly antenna line on the top and bottom of the device. Also, the back camera has a little bump which makes the thickness 6.6 millimeters.

Since it’s a slim device we get to see a little bit of flex here. This makes me concern about the device’s durability and toughness but it’s not that big of a deal. Overall, the build quality and design of the device is really nice.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4

The device has got metal frames with the glass panel on the front and back of the device. The looks of the device are really nice because of the glass but I don’t like glass on it as it gets lots of print on it. On the front, we get to see a 10.5-inch screen with very slim bezels which give this device a modern look. This device is a little bulky than the Tab S5e and it’s also a little thick in comparison with the Tab S5e.

Overall, the design and the build quality of the device is really nice and it’s also very comfortable as well.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

Here, we get to see a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels which is really good and because of that we get to see a very sharp display. The colors are very accurate and it looks very nice as well. The contrast is nice and also the blacks are deep as well. The viewing angles of this screen are also good because it is an IPS panel.

The bezels are also very slim from all the sides but for me, that’s not good as it means that the grip is not good and our hands might touch the screen which becomes a problem. Overall, the display is good but the bezels are bit too slim for me.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4

Here, we get to see the same Super AMOLED display as on Tab S5e. The resolution of the screen and the size of the display is the same as well. Even the PPI is the same as well. Also, the aspect ratio is the same as well. And because of that, the colors look nice and vibrant, and also the color reproduction is nice as well. The contrast is nice and the brightness is nice as well. You will not have any problem using this device in broad daylight.

The only difference in the display of both of these devices is that it has got little thick bezels than the Tab S5e which is nice for holding the device firmly. Also, the colors look quite nice and natural as well.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

This device has got four stereo speakers two on the top and the other two on the bottom of the device. These speakers are really great as it has got good bass, good mids and treble are good as well. The speakers are loud as well and the audio is clear as well.

This device is nice for day-to-day activities like playing YouTube videos, listening to music, surfing the web, or reading magazines or books. Even this device is good for multitasking and simple apps like YouTube and Chrome work great.

Now, high demanding games like PUBG are definitely playable here but at medium or low graphic settings. Because, if the graphics are set at high then you might see some lags or stutters. So for a smooth gaming experience, I would definitely recommend you to play with medium graphic settings.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4

This device has also got four stereo speakers, two on the bottom and the other two on the top of the device. These speakers are also AKG tuned and the speaker quality is also great as well. The sound produced from these speakers is loud and clear and the bass is nice as well.

The performance of the device is quite nice as it can handle all the day-to-day tasks easily without any issues at all. You can easily use apps like YouTube to watch videos, Chrome to surf the internet, or listening to music. You can also do multi-tasking in the Dex mode and tablet mode as well.

Now, high-graphic intensive games can also be played without any major lags or stutters but you might notice some minor lags here and there. So, I would recommend you to play high-graphic intensive games with moderate graphic settings.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

The front and the back cameras are really nice considering that it’s a tablet. However, your mobile phone probably could take or record better photos and videos than this device. But these are not bad cameras considering that these cameras are on a tablet.

The battery life of this device is great as it lasted for 13 hours in my video looping test. Now, your device’s battery life might differ according to your usage and that’s what usually happens. Now if you are using your device very roughly then you might get a battery life of 5 to 6 hours or more or less depending on your usage, environment, and some other factors.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4

The back and the front camera are nice and take decent photos in bright lighting conditions. These cameras are nice considering that this is a three-year-old device. Now, mobile phone cameras can take better pictures than the ones on the tablet. However, these cameras are still great for video calling and document and also good enough for some quick selfies as well.

Now, the battery life of this device is nice but I wasn’t able to test it properly. But I can definitely say that it can last for the whole day with moderate usage. With the heavy usage, it can definitely last for 5 to 6 hours without any problems. You can charge this device in 3.5 hours which is very impressive as the battery size in this device is really huge.

Which One Should You Buy?

Now, If I need to buy one of these devices then I would definitely go for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. The Tab S5e has got more and better processing power than the Tab S4 and it’s also an advanced version of the Tab S4. Other than that there is no reason to go for the Tab S5e. You can also go for the Tab S4 as it can also perform all the day-to-day tasks without any problem. But due to the latest version and more processing power of the device, I would definitely go for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. I would recommend going for the device which suits your needs the best.
