RTX 2050 Vs RTX 3050: Benchmarks
Okay, let’s move on to the game benchmarks. I have compared 8 different games at Medium and High Preset.
1. Watchdogs Legion
Both games were tested at Medium Preset and RTX 2050 was achieving a 9.7% higher average FPS in this game. The RTX 3050 was still able to play as it was giving around 68FPS.
2. Control
This game was tested with Medium Preset and DLSS ON. RTX 3050 was still able to provide a 13.5% higher average frame rate.
3. The Witcher 3
In both GPU, The Witcher 3 was giving above 60FPS with High Preset. And RTX 2050 was only 2FPS ahead which not a noticeable difference.
4. Assassins Creed Valhalla
Assassins Creed Valhalla was tested with the built-in benchmark using medium preset. Again RTX 3050 is the clear winner as it was giving 9.5%
5. Shadow of the Tomb Raider
This is my all-time favourite game. There is only 1FPS difference in both laptops. And while I was playing this game, I didn’t feel any difference.
6. Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is graphics heavy game, and both laptops were performing under 50FPS. Talking about difference, RTX 3050 was 13% faster than RTX 2050.
7. Forza Hoirzon 5
Forza Hoirzon 5 was tested using the built-in benchmark with High Preset Settings. At 1080p the RTX 2050 was getting 12.6% higher average FPS.
8. Red Dead Redemption 2
And finally, this game also has not a noticeable difference. Both were performing well and was playable.
