Now, the design of both the device is very different as the MatePad Pro has got very less bezels but on the other side, MediaPad M6 has got way thicker bezels. On the back also we can see that the MatePad Pro has got a little camera strip whereas the MediaPad M6 has got a very simple camera design. The other big difference in both of these devices is there weight as the MediaPad M6 is bit bigger so its obvious that it’s also a bit heavier as well. However, both of these tablets has the same screen size.

Overall, the design of both these devices is pretty good, the build quality is solid and also both are comfortable holding in hand especially the MediaPad M6 as it has got little bezels as well.

These tablets has got the same 10.8-inch IPS LCD display. Both of these screens have a 2K resolution with 1600 x 2560 pixels. Both of these displays look quite different as the bezels on the MatePad Pro are a bit thicker and also it has got the punch hole camera which gives the screen a unique edge in comparison with the MediaPad M6.

The color reproduction and contrast is good. Both have got laminated screens which basically means if you are someone who loves drawing or sketching will feel like that he/she is drawing on an actual piece of paper. Especially on the MatePad Pro as M-Pencil is way better than the M-Pencil of MediaPad M6. The brightness on both the displays is nice but for me, Huawei MediaPad M6 has got better brightness according to me.

Overall, both of these displays are good enough for watching movies or Youtube videos but both the tablets don’t have Widevine L1 certification which means that we can’t movies or web series in HD on Netflix or Amazon Prime which is a little bit disappointing but we can still watch youtube videos in HD which is still satisfying in my opinion.

The speakers on the MediaPad M6 and MatePad Pro are tuned by Harmon Kardon. The audio experience on both the devices is really however, I like the audio on MediaPad M6 better. But, since the speaker’s placement is slightly different on both devices the audio experience can also vary from person to person.

On the MediaPad M6, two speakers are placed on the top and the other two are placed on the bottom. Whereas the speakers on the MatePad Pro are on the left and right side. So, if you are listening to music on the MediaPad M6 in desktop mode the sound quality will decrease in comparison to the MatePad Pro.

Overall, the gaming performance of these devices is really good especially on the MatePad Pro as it has got Kirin 990 which is the latest processor and you will also notice any lags or stutters. Games like PUBG, Call of Duty, Fortnite works pretty well on both of these devices.

You can also do multi-tasking, productive work on both of these devices. However, you need to get the keyboard separately for doing productive work. These devices can even be used for everyday tasks and the performance is amazing and you will not notice any lags or stutters at all.

Both of these cameras have got 13 MP camera on the back and an 8 MP camera on the front. Also, the result on both of these devices in terms of video and picture quality is very much the same. However, in my opinion, the Huawei MediaPad M6 took better videos and photos than the MatePad Pro. The difference is not huge but it’s worth mentioning. The cameras on both the devices are capable to take 2K resolution videos in UHD and the front cameras on both the devices can take Full HD videos up to 1080 pixels.

In terms of battery life, the MediaPad M6 has got a bigger battery and also it lasts much longer than the one on Huawei MatePad Pro. However, the MatePad Pro has got wireless charging and it also has reverse wireless charging functionality as well. Being that said it is currently the only tablet in the market that can do this.

So, as I said the MediaPad M6 has got better battery life because of its bigger battery size. However, battery life is one thing that depends on a person’s usage and also a bit on the environment as well.

Which Should You Buy?

If I need to buy from Huawei MediaPad M6 Vs MatePad Pro then I would go for Huawei MatePad Pro.

The Huawei MatePad Pro has got a better processor and this is the biggest reason to go for it. As it is the advanced version of the Huawei MediaPad M6. This device is perfect for any kind of daily usage, gaming, and also good for doing some productive work. However, if you don’t have a big budget then the Huawei MediaPad M6 is also a good option as the display is good, the speakers are good, and also the performance is pretty nice as well.

However, this is just my opinion and the last decision is based on you. I would just suggest to go for a tablet that fulfils your need and just follow my opinion blindly.
