iPad Pro 9.7:
This device’s design is almost identical to a 12.9-inch iPad Pro model. Clearly this device is light weight and compact than the 12.9-inch edition. This gold-colored device looks very awesome. This device’s build quality is excellent, and standardize Apple device. This device’s form factor is good too and it feels like a great tablet to me.
iPad 10.2:
Other iPads are already familiar with the design of this device which seems like its obvious that it will always be like this forever but who knows that they may change the design. We also got the standard home button at the front of the unit. The device’s body is made from aluminium.

iPad Pro 9.7:
We get to see a 9.7-inch screen and the screen is really better than any other iPad we’ve used. It has also got good anti-reflective coating. This device also features true tone technology. This true tone technology helps to preserve the white balance, which is very good according to the surrounding.
Another good thing about this design is that the panel is laminated. This means that there is no air gap between the pixels and the display. yOverall this is a perfect display and also watching movies or playing games is a really nice experience.
iPad 10.2:
As the name suggests this device has a 10.2-inch display, and the screen’s aspect ratio is 4:3. It’s a full HD screen and the colors are vivid, sharp and so is the contrast. So if you are a fan of Netlfix then you will love this device and you will definitely enjoy watching different TV shows.
The other thing about the panel is it isn’t laminated, so there’s a bit of air distance between pixels and panel. Therefore, using the Apple pencil won’t be that pleasant of an experience because you would imagine because the pencil is only a little above the pixels and it also gives a hollow sound that isn’t good when taping.

iPad Pro 9.7:
This device has four speakers that are totally pleasant and clear. Two speakers are at the bottom, and two are at the top. But the sad part about this device is that it’s not good in producing base.
This device has an A9X processor which was pretty powerful few years ago. This processor is not that bad though, and it’s still pretty strong. This processor makes this device a little faster but is not too fast compared to the market ‘s new iPads.
There is also multi-tasking support for split-screen viewing. I watched youtube video and did browsing at the same time that was really quick for me. I also didn’t face problems jumping from one application to a another one.
Apple pencil is also available which may be the reason to buy this unit. But to be honest, nothing on this device has anything to do with this Apple Pencil. Because this Apple Pencil will only be useful for any illustration or drawing. And this Apple Pencil will not be able to help you do useful work.
Overall this device is really great if you want to watch movies, reading ebooks, and basic things like that works really great.
iPad 10.2:
At the bottom there are only 2 speakers which produce decent audio. This tablet has an A10 processor that is also present in iPhone 7, and is also a very powerful processor compared to A9X. That clearly means it can do all the stuff that iPad Pro 9.7-inch could do. Things like playing high-end games, editing video and some heavy apps will work with no problems.
This tablet is also better in terms of multitasking, productivity function, and this device can also be used in a split-screen mode that enables multitasking. Now, there’s a big boost in RAM from 2 GB to 3 GB, too.
Overall, this is a definitely better device in terms of performance and multitasking as the processor and RAM in this device is superior.

iPad Pro 9.7:
The back camera on here is a really good camera and it is iPhone 6S 12 MP camera. The video recording from this device is also pretty stable but the quality is not the same as on iPhone 6S. However, the photo quality is good and colors are nice as well.
The battery life of this device is pretty good just like other iPads battery life. In my test I got over 10-hours of battery life while I was watching full HD videos at medium brightness. So, this device can definitely lasts you for whole day without any issues.
iPad 10.2:
Now, we got an 8 MP camera on this device which is usable to take photos or videos. But don’t expect high-end quality images because tablets/iPads are not the best for taking photos. There is also a 1.2 MP selfie camera which you should avoid using as it is not a good camera and images looks really bad as well.
This device also gives 10-hour battery life which is amazing as I thought that the big screen size and powerful processor will take up a lot of battery life but that’s not the case here. In this device also I watched HD videos at medium brightness and this is like my standard battery life test. Overall this is also a great device in terms of battery life and it can also last for the whole day with single charge.
WHICH ONE YOU SHOULD BUY?
Now, I like both the devices but if I have to buy one, which one should it be? In this scenario, it depends on what I want on my device. Like I do a lot of video editing work so Apple iPad 10.2 is the best option here. In the same way, I also want to watch Netflix and I want more battery life as well. But if you are someone who wants a small screen, a device which could be carried anywhere easily then Apple iPad 9.7-inch is the best device for you. However, both these device don’t have too much difference as the biggest difference between both of them is the screen size.
