METHOD 1: ROOT A51 WITH MAGISK

Step 1: Firstly, you need to download your Samsung Galaxy A51 ‘s latest stock firmware.

Step 2: Extract the zip file from firmware with 7zip or any other unzipper.

Step 3: Copy and paste md5 file to your Samsung Galaxy A51’s internal storage.

Step 4: Now download and install Magisk Manager APK.

Step 5: Then open the Magisk Manager and Go to Install>> Install>> Select and Patch a file.

Step 6: Now, locate the AP file which copied earlier to your device.

Step 7: The firmware will be patched and it will be found in Internal Storage / Download / magisk patched.tar.

Step 8: Now move that patched file to your Computer.

Step 9: Turn your device OFF and boot to DOWNLOAD mode.

Step 10: Now open the Odin application, click on AP, and select the patched tar file.   Make sure the “Auto Reboot” option is unchecked, and click “Start” buttont. This will flash Magisk on your Samsung Galaxy A51.

In order to boot in recovery or boot the system with Magisk installed:

  • Powering up normally>> System without Magisk
  • Power + Volume Up >> Bootloader warning>> Release all buttons>>System with Magisk
  • Power + Volume Up >> Bootloader warning>> Keep holding volume up>>Actual recovery

METHOD 2 & 3 doesn’t need bootloader to be unlocked. METHOD 2 & 3 are universal rooting ways. So I am not sure that they will work with Samsung A51 but still you can try. If they didn’t work then METHOD 1 is 100% working.

METHOD 2: ROOT A51 WITH KINGOROOT

Step 1: Prepare your Samsung Galaxy A51, USB cable (the stock one recommended) within your reach. Internet Connection is required.

Step 2: Free download KingoRoot Android, install and launch it on your computer.

Step 3: Connect your Samsung Galaxy A51 to your computer via USB cable. Make sure the connection is stable. Do not touch or unplug the cable till the end.

Step 4: Now enable USB Debugging on your device manually by following the detailed instructions on the interface of Kingo Android Root according to your Android version respectively. Once enabled, your device model name and root status will appear on the software as long as ROOT Notifications and a ROOT button.

Step 6: After realizing the risks and possible consequences of Android rooting behavior, click ROOT to start rooting your device. It will take a few minutes to complete the process. The time required by the process varies from different objective conditions such as connection, network, phone models and all. Do not panic if it takes a little longer.

Step 7: If it succeeds, KingoRoot will give you a success notice.

METHOD 3: ROOT A51 WITH ONECLICKROOT

Download and install device drivers and One Click Root from here. Open “One Click Root” and click on on “Root Now”. Wait for few seconds till your Samsung Galaxy A51 gets rooted. If it succeeds, You will find an app named SuperSu in the app drawer.
