Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
The first thing I notice about the design of the device is that it’s very slim and thinness is 5.5 millimeters. This device is also very light and its weight is 400 grams. The back of the device is mostly made of metal which is a nice thing. Also, the antenna on the back has got a plastic cover and it looks a bit ugly as well. The front of the device means the display looks very typical to other similar devices.
Now, this device is very slim and it makes me concern that it might get bend or something similar could happen with the device if we don’t use the device carefully.
Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite
The device looks very premium and rich as it is made of metal. However, the top and the bottom of the back are made of plastic for the antennas of the device. Also, this device is extremely thin but not too lightweight but we need to take care as it can be easily bent without any problems. The device is mainly made to use in landscape mode. So the design of the device is also in Landscape mode as well. This device is also very comfortable to hold in hand.
Overall, the build quality and the design of the device is nice. It easy to hold in hand and also feels very comfortable as well.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
The Tab S5e has got a display size of 10.5-inch with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. This is a Super AMOLED screen and the PPI is 288 pixels which is very nice. The viewing angles are also very nice as this is an IPS panel. The bezels are quite slim which gives the device a modern look. But in terms of the grip of the device, it’s not good. Because we can’t hold the device properly (at least I am not able to hold it) it might get slip from the hand, or our hand might touch the screen which could turn on the application.
Some other aspects like the color are very vibrant and the contrast is nice as well. The brightness is good as well and it could easily be used in outdoor lighting conditions. The screen is also laminated but it doesn’t support the S-Pen so if you like digital drawing, sketching, or writing with the S-Pen then you probably don’t want to go for this device.
Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite
The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite has got a 10.5-inch screen with FHD+ resolution. But I don’t like the bezels as they are white in color and it has got black bezels under the display which looks very outdated and I personally don’t like that as well. But it’s not a big issue as you can just go for a different color. Also, these bezels are perfect as it is very comfortable to hold in hand and it’s good for the thumb rest as well.
Apart from all these, the colors are very bright, vibrant and the contrast is nice as well. The brightness is good enough for outdoor usage but the display is also very reflective as well. Also, this display is not laminated which means that if you are an artist or someone then it will not be fun to draw or write as there is an air gap between the display and the panel. Which makes writing or drawing looks like it’s done in the air.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
Now, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has got quad-speaker set up. Two speakers are on the top and the other two are on the bottom of the device. No matter what, either you are watching movies, playing games, or listening to music the sound produced from these speakers is really nice and you will love these speakers as well.
Now, this device performs very well in day-to-day activities like watching videos on YouTube, Surfing the Web, listening to music, watching, writing, and some things like that. Also, this device has got split-screen mode which means that you can also do multitasking on this device without any problem.
This device is good for simple games like Subway Surfer or Temple Run and this game doesn’t lag at all. Also, some high-end games like PUBG, Call Of Duty, or Fortnite run perfectly fine. But these games can be max played at HD graphic settings. However, the graphics are nice and the game also runs very smoothly as well. But the device was heating from the back of the device but it’s fine as this device is very slim.
Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite
The MediaPad M5 Lite has got four stereo speakers and these speakers are tuned by Harmon Kardon. These speakers are very good but considering that these speakers are on tablet. Also, movies and music sound very nice and the bass is nice as well.
The performance of the device is good and it can handle all the day-to-day things like watching videos on YouTube, surfing the web, or listening to music. Also, this device handles multitasking very well and the apps work well in the split-screen mode as well.
The gaming on this device is smooth. Some high-graphic games like PUBG, Need for Speed were easily playable but I would recommend playing these games in medium graphic settings to avoid lags or stutters. Now, obviously simple games work nicely as this device can easily handle those games.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
The front and the back camera of this device has got 2-megapixel cameras. These cameras are just decent and the photos taken from these cameras are decent as well. However, considering that this is a tablet, the cameras are nice well. But the quality of these cameras are good enough for video calling, document scanning, or just for quick selfies.
The battery life of the device is nice and it could last for 12 hours according to my video playback test. And it could last for the whole day with normal to moderate use. Here, we get a 15-watt fast charger which is decent in my opinion.
Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite
The camera quality of these cameras is pretty good and the photos look really nice. Also, the videos look fine as it looks very blurry and choppy as well. But these cameras are not as good as mobile phone cameras. However, I would recommend using these cameras for video calling and for document scanning as well.
This device has got big battery life and it also has 18-watt fast charging. But because of the big battery, it takes somewhere around 3 to 4 hours to charge completely. Now, I wasn’t able to test the battery life properly but I can definitely say that it can last for a whole day with moderate usage.
Which One Should You Buy?
Now, If I need to buy one of these device than I would definitely go for the Samsung Tab S5e. This device is nice performing device and it could easily handle all the day to day task without any lags or stutters. However, it doesn’t support the S-Pen which makes the huge impact on the productive work but that’s completely fine for me as I don’t like to use S-Pen anyways.
On the other hand, Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite is the best device for normal to moderate productive work and also this device is suitable for gaming as well. Some other things like display, battery back up, and the design of the device is also nice as well. However, I would recommend you to go for the device which suits your needs the best.
