Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1
This device has got a unibody metal design but the top part of the device is plastic. The design on the backside of the device is very plain and simple with matte finishing and the Samsung logo in the centre. This device is 7.5 mm thick and it weighs 462 grams. This device feels a little heavy in hand which is fine and also it is a little bit slippery as well. This device is also a little slick as well. Overall the design of the device is pretty good and feels little durable as well.
Huawei MediaPad T5
The back of the MediaPad T5 is made of aluminium and the top of the back is plastic. However, the plastic is not only limited to the top of the back but the side bezels are also plastic as well. The design of this device is very similar to its previous version, but this device is a little bigger than its previous version. This device feels good while holding it in hand and also it gives durable and premium feeling because of its metal body.
This device is made to mainly use it in landscape mode so we can’t hold it in one hand if we are using it in landscape mode. This device is a little bit thicker than the Tab A 10.1 which is 7.8 mm and it weighs 460 grams which is 2 grams lighter than the Tab A 10.1. Overall this device has good build quality and also it is durable as well.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1
As the name of the device suggests it’s a 10.1-inch device. The resolution of this display is nice as it is a Full HD screen. The colours are vibrant and also the brightness is nice as well. The viewing angles of this display are also good as well. The user experience is really good and also gaming experience was nice as well.
However, though this is a good display there are also some drawbacks as well. One of the drawbacks is that there is no Ambient sensor which means no auto-brightness. Another drawback of this device is that there is no S-Pen support which is fine but worth mentioning.
Huawei MediaPad T5
This is also a 10.1-inch screen and it’s an IPS panel so the viewing angles are great. This is also Full HD screen and the screen is laminated which means there is no air gap between the display and the panel. The brightness is good enough but I would not recommend to use it in direct sunlight as it gets a little dark. The colours and contrast are also good as well.
This display also does not support an active pen which is a little sad for those who love to draw. Other than that the display is good, colours are nice and also it is a great device for watching movies or videos just like the Tab A 10.1.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1
There dual stereo speakers on this device and both these speakers are bottom-firing. However, both of these speakers are loud, clear and crisp and someone who loves to listen to music will definitely love these speakers as well.
The performance of this device is good and also I played games like PUBG and Asphalt in high graphics and games work perfectly but there were some lags but they were some minor lags only. However, if you want to play games than I would recommend you to play games with medium graphics. Some simple games like Temple Run and Subway Surfer worked really great.
This device is also good for productivity work as you can connect a keyboard and mouse with the device. You can also do multitasking with this device and also there is a split-screen mode which helps to do multitasking.
Huawei MediaPad T5
This device is good enough to use for day to day task like watching videos on Youtube, Surfing the Web or reading an e-book.
This device is also good for those who like to do productivity work and apps like Microsoft Office or Excel works great as well. This device is also good for doing multitasking as this device also supports the split-screen view.
The gaming performance on this device is not as good as it is on Tab A 10.1. Some games like Asphalt 8 runs smoothly but high-end games do not run properly on this device. Other games like into the dead 2 works fine but for that, we need to turn the graphics to the medium.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1
The front and back cameras of this device are pretty bad and you might not like these cameras as well but in my opinion cameras on tablets are almost never used. The back camera on this device takes decent pictures with proper lighting conditions. However, the quality of the front camera is average but it is good enough for video calling and things like that.
This device gives 6-7 hours screen on time which is good enough to lasts the whole day. However, if you are a very rough user means you play a lot of games and watches lot of video than it might not lasts for 7 hours. However, the battery life is good enough for an average person to lasts the whole day.
Huawei MediaPad T5
The front and back camera on this device are also average just like the cameras on Tab A 10.1. However, the back camera takes nice pictures in the proper lighting conditions. The video quality is also decent if the lighting conditions are good enough. The front camera is also the same and I would recommend to use it only for video calling and nothing else.
According to my battery test, this device lasts for 10 hours which is nice but it might not lasts for 10 hours if you are someone who likes to play games a lot or if you watch lot of videos. Other than that this device could definitely lasts for 10 hours.
WHICH IS BETTER?
In my opinion, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is best device to buy. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 has got great design, nice display, nice performance power and also the battery life is good enough for the whole day as well. On the other hand the Huawei MediaPad T5 is for those who wants to have a basic tablet for day to day tasks. However, you need to decide which one suits your needs the best.
