Microsoft Surface Go 2

The looks of the device stand out. The front of the device is very similar to any other tablet out there. The bezels are slim enough from all the sides. The design of the device is in landscape mode and it’s mainly made for working professionals. The design of the device is quite unique but it’s very similar to its predecessor. The grip is also very nice and the build quality feels very premium. The back of the device also works as the kickstand and it is very durable. And it can bend in all the angles and it still seems very durable.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

After the unboxing when I took the tablet in my hand it felt very lightweight which is nice and it also surprised me. The matte finishing of the device is very beautiful and the bump on the back for the S-Pen gives the device a very unique look.

The design is sleek and feels very premium to the touch. The build quality of the device is good and it feels durable and sturdy in hand. The bezels look very sleek and are equal from all the sides, which looks very modern but it also reduces space for thumb rest and grip as well which is not that great.

The display is very nice which we don’t get to see in other Microsoft tablets but it’s not better than the Tab S6 display. This display also has a 10.5-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 3:2. The bezels are also trimmed from all the sides which gives the display a modern feel but it also reduces the grip which might lead to display activation.

The other things like color reproduction and contrast are good. The brightness is also nice and it can be used in outdoor lighting conditions without any issues. The display is also laminated which means that there is no air gap between the panel and the display. This enhances the user experience who likes to draw, write or sketch with the stylus.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

The Tab S6 has got a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display. The resolution is very nice and thus it’s a very crisp display. The brightness of the display is quite nice and it’s visible even outdoors in broad daylight. The design of the display feels quite nice as the bezels are quite sleek from all four sides of the device. The colors are quite vibrant and the contrast is also good enough as well.

The other nice thing about this device is that it’s a laminated display which means that there is no air gap between the display and the panel of the device. This is good because it enhances the user experience who loves to write or draw with the stylus. This display also has an in-display fingerprint which is nice for those who are concerned about their privacy.

Microsoft Surface Go 2

This device is basically for those who want to do everyday tasks like surfing the web, watching videos on YouTube, or scrolling through social media apps. You can also do simple multi-tasking like opening YouTube on one side and opening the chrome browser on the other side. You might notice some lags or stutters if you are using the base variant with Pentium gold. Because this is a very old processor and the processing power is also not that great.

I would recommend going for the Core M3 variant as it has got more processing power and it can handle multitasking and things like that. Overall, if your needs are basic then the base variant can fulfill your needs. But if you are working professional and use any office apps like Microsoft word, excel and apps like that then I would recommend going for the Core M3 variant as it can handle all those apps properly. But if you are looking to do high-level video editing or photo editing then this device is not for you.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

Here, we get to see four quad speakers. These speakers are on the bottom and on the top of the device. The speakers are really loud but mostly they sound clear. These speakers support Dolby Atmos which is really great and gives a theater-like experience.

The performance of the device has been pretty great and I haven’t seen any lags or stutters which is nice. This device is even good enough for multi-tasking. If you are a student, working professional or someone who wants a tablet for everyday use then this device is best suitable for you.

Even playing games is fun on this device as all the high-end games work pretty nice and I didn’t notice any lags at all. Games like PUBG, Call Of Duty and Fortnite worked pretty well. Also, simple games like Subway Surfer or Temple Run are much fun to play.

This device is not suitable for heavy video or photo editing as the processing power is not that good. However, there is no problem in doing moderate video or photo editing.

The cameras are good enough and these cameras are better than the cameras on other devices. You can use these cameras for document scanning or for video calling as these cameras are mostly suitable for that. Here, we also get to see a studio-level microphone which gives really nice audio experience. If you want then you can also take your photos but I wouldn’t recommend that as our phones take better photos than these tablets.

Now, Microsoft claims that the battery life can last up to 10 hours which might be true if you are using the Pentium gold version. But if you are using the Core M3 version then it might not last for 10 hours. It also depends on how you are using the device. If your usage is pretty heavy then it might last for 5 to 6 hours or even less based on the version you are using.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

The camera quality of this device is pretty good and it takes pretty nice photos in bright lighting conditions. Also, the photos taken in low lighting conditions are nice as well. This camera can shoot videos in 4K and the video quality is better than expected. The front camera is also good enough for selfies and video calls.

In my video looping test, I found that the battery lasts for a little more than 11 hours which is nice for video lovers. But if you are a heavy user than this battery life might only last for 5 to 6 hours. Other than that the standby time is also quite nice as well.

Which Should You Buy?

Now, if I need to buy one of these devices than I would definitely go for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 as it can do high-level things like video editing, photo editing and things like that. This device also has beautiful display and movies, videos and photos looks nice and sharp. The battery life is also decent and the design of the device is great as well.

But, if you are looking to do basic things like watching videos, playing music, surfing chrome, or some multi-tasking than you can go for this device. Because the decision has to be made by you according to your needs and your budget.
