Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

After taking out the Tab S5e from the box I can say that it’s very thin and also it feels very lightweight as well. The colors of the device look nice and there are two bars on the top and bottom of the device and these bars are for signal purposes. The big thing about the design is that we get to see USB Type-C. On the front, we get a big screen and the bezels are trimmed from all the sides and it looks quite nice but because of the trim bezels, we get a little issue with the grip. Overall, the design of the device is nice and also the build quality is nice as well and it feels quite sturdy as well.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1

The Tab A 10.1 looks very premium from the back and it looks really good as well. The front of the device is very typical like other tablets. This device has got matte finishing and it looks very nice. The back of the device is mostly made of metal which is a good thing and the build of the device is also very good as well. This device can be easily held in one hand but we can’t use it with one hand while holding it. The side bezels are very thin which makes the grip a little weak. Overall, the design and build quality of the device is very good.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

This display is very beautiful and the colors look really nice as well. This display has got a 16:10 aspect ratio and it’s also a Super AMOLED screen. The colors look really nice and also the contrast is nice as well. The brightness is good and it can be used in outdoor lighting conditions without any problems.

Watching movies or videos on this device is fun and the colors look really nice and really vibrant as well. This display is also laminated which means that there is no air gap between the panel and the display. This improves the drawing experience, writing experience, and sketching experience of the user. The laminated display makes the user feels like it’s drawing on a piece of paper.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1

The display is very good considering its price and colors look really vibrant as well. The color reproduction is good and the contrast is nice as well. This screen has really thin bezels from the sides and but little thick bezels from the top and bottom. It’s important for the bezels to be a little thick on tablets. Because it has to be held in both hands and if the bezels are too small then the hands might touch the screen and the screen might get activated. Also, the screen is very reflective even at full brightness and if you are thinking to use this device outside then you might not be to see the screen. Overall, the screen is nice, colors look good and vibrant and contrast is nice as well.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

The Galaxy Tab S5e has got four stereo speakers. Two stereo speakers are on the top and the other two are on the bottom of the device. The sound quality is nice and the audio is very clear as well. Overall, these speakers are great and the sound quality is nice and the bass is clear as well.

The performance of this device is good enough for all the day-to-day tasks like watching videos, scrolling through social media, listening to music, and doing simple multi-tasking works fine. However, you might notice some choppy frames or stutter sometimes. But other than that this device is nice for everyday usage, gaming, and some things like that.

Now, if you are a gamer then you might not like this device as you can’t play PUBG on this device at high graphic settings. However, I would recommend not to play high-end games like PUBG as it would affect the performance of the device. But simple and low graphic-intensive games like Dead Trigger.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1

Here, we get to see dual stereo speakers. These speakers are placed on the bottom of the device. The sound quality is good and the audio produced is also loud and clear as well. However, I feel that it lacks a little bit of bass but other than that these speakers are really good.

The performance is good for daily tasks like watching videos on YouTube, Surfing the web, reading books or magazines, or listening to music. This device is also good for multi-tasking like opening apps in the floating window and two more apps can be open in the split-screen mode without any issues.

The gaming experience is pretty good but we can’t play PUBG at high graphic settings because it stutters and lags a little as well. But playing at medium or moderate graphic settings is fine as it doesn’t lag or stutters at all. But games like San Andreas and Asphalt 9 works perfectly fine at high-graphics settings.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

The back camera is 13-megapixel and it takes decent photos in good lighting conditions. The front camera is an 8-megapixel shooter and photos taken from this camera are decent as well. The details on these cameras are pretty good but in my opinion, these cameras are best for video calling, document scanning and at best I would use these cameras for fun.

The battery life of the device is great and it lasts for 13 hours in my video looping test. According to me, the battery life is pretty good and with heavy usage, it would easily last for 5 to 6 hours which is more than sufficient for any working professional or any day-to-day user.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1

The quality of these cameras is very decent just like the Tab S5e. The photos and videos taken from these are very decent in bright lighting conditions. These cameras are great for video calling, document scanning or just taking quick selfies.

The battery life of the device is really good and it doesn’t get hot even after continuous use but it might get hot in your case as it depends on the environment. The battery life of the Tab A 10.1 is somewhere around 10 hours according to my video looping test. But you might get more or less battery life depending on your usage.

Which Should You Buy?

Now, both of these are good but If I need to choose one of these devices then I would definitely go for Tab A 10.1 as I like the performance of this device. The design and display is also nice. But if I just want a basic tablet for day-to-day use then I would definitely go for Tab S5E. However, I would recommend you to go for a device which suits your needs the best.
